On Sat 7 Sep, the Strictly Smokin’ Big Band presented a spellbinding evening of swing magic with a programme featuring the iconic sounds of Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington. Led by vocalist Alice Grace, this jazz extravaganza celebrates the best of the big band era with songs including Let’s Do It, Time After Time, Perdido and more, as the projected backdrop honours the intricacies and influences of two musical titans alongside their decorated collaborators.
